Why am I seeing "No Data" on my Physical Human Development dashboard?
What the "No Data" label means on the Human Development Physical dashboard
On your Physical Human Development dashboard, you'll see four different categories of wellness data: Sleep Quality, Mindfulness Minutes, Activity Level, and Heart Rate Variability. These four data metrics are pulled from your successful wearable connection with either the Google Health app or Apple Health app.
You’ll see a message on that dashboard that reads: “No Data - We didn’t receive any data from your health account or wearable.” This is meant as an explainer and shows even when you've connected your device successfully. It is not a warning or an error.
If you're seeing "No Data" in all sections, you should start by checking your wearable connection.
If you're seeing "No Data" in only some sections first check your wearable connection. If the connection seems successful, please take the following steps.
-
Sleep Quality - To see sleep data in the LE-1 app, you must turn on Sleep tracking and opt in to it, as well as wear your wearable when you go to sleep. Confirm that you have enabled sleep tracking with your wearable device within either the Apple Health (external article) or Google Health (external article) app. If you don't wear one to sleep or you haven't enabled sleep tracking, you may see "No Data" listed here.
-
Mindfulness Minutes - If you don't regularly use a meditation or mindfulness app, you may see the "No Data" label here.
-
Activity Level - This category reports your steps taken and active minutes. If you see the "No Data" label here, it's usually a permissions issue that requires checking your wearable connection.
-
Heart Rate Variability - This category reports your heart rate variability, which is calculated by comparing your during-the-day and deep sleeping heart rate. If you see the "No Data" label here, it's usually a permissions issue that requires checking your wearable connection, or it's an indicator that you don't wear your wearable to sleep (see Sleep Quality above).
