How is my wellbeing or wearable data used in the learning experience?
Insights are generated from the data you share. Your data is private!
How is my wellbeing data used?
Insights are generated from the data you share, to reflect back to you how your sleep, mood, exercise and mindfulness data influence each other. L.E. can also review your health and wellbeing data to adapt the lesson to fit your current state. Your wellbeing data is also used to suggest strategies and practices to support your experience in-app.
What about how I scored during onboarding?
The self-assessment you took during onboarding helps us to set a wellbeing baseline for you, so that we know how things are changing as you use the app. This data, and any insights we generate from it, are private to you. You'll also complete another version of this self-assessment questionnaire later in the program for comparison to your starting baseline.
Is wearable data required?
No. Sharing wearable or wellness data is completely optional. You can use the platform fully without connecting any wearable device. You can still use the app without syncing your health data, but will not get as enhanced or personalized an experience.
Can I control what health data is shared?
Yes. If you choose to connect a wearable device, you can:
- Choose which data types to share (activity, sleep, heart rate)
- Pause sharing at any time
- Disconnect your device completely
How is my wellness data used?
If you share wellness data, it's used only to:
- Provide you with personal wellness insights
- Help you understand connections between wellbeing and learning
- Enhance and personalize your interactions with L.E. while in learning sessions
Your wellness data is:
- Never shared with SNHU or your employer
- Never used for employment decisions
